Through initiatives such as OMB’s Federal Data Center Consolidation Initiative (FDCCI) it has becoming clear that Information Technology as a whole, and proliferation of data centers across Government and private industry alike in particular, contributes greatly to energy consumption in our nation. 

SSSi-IT is committed to not only employing “Green IT” technology to all of our IT solutions but also in exploring and proliferating environmentally sound products and services outside the IT domain and into other areas of our everyday lives.

To do this, we have partnered with two industry leading energy companies, Siemens  a leading provider of energy efficient lighting and Encelium, a leading provider of Energy Lighting Management systems.  Together, we are working s to help bring new and energy efficient solutions to Federal,  State, and local  Governments.
