Description of Work:
- Help the client design, build,
stabilize and deploy a Microsoft Business Intelligence solution for a
large 12 million record flat file using SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
- Participate in customer team
meetings and conversations with client personnel to understand business
and technical requirements including requirements definition, schema
design, ETL (SSIS), cube design and development (SSAS), end-user
presentation (via analytic reports, graphs, scorecards, etc.), testing,
deployment, and post-deployment support.
- Create and maintain a variety
of related artifacts (e.g., requirements, process models or diagrams, data
matrices, project deliverables).
- Plan for and conduct
implementation activities.
- Demonstrate strong oral and
written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical
topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface
with the customer and Northrop Grumman management on a daily basis and
compile periodic reports.
- Become knowledgeable on the HIPAA policies and procedures
for the program and ensure awareness of HIPAA breach process.
Understand your role in HIPAA compliance and be able to execute that
role in an effective manner.
Basic Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree and 14 years
of related experience; Master’s degree and 12 years of experience; or 18
years of experience will satisfy degree and experience requirements.
- ETL developer with 3+ years
demonstrable experience using SSIS , T-SQL with SQL Server 2008 - 2012
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing
methodologies and concepts
- Strong understanding of
Integration Services (SSIS), Analysis Services (SSAS) and Reporting
Services ( SSRS)
- Experience in analysis, design
and construction of data marts and data warehouses in SQL Server
- Strong in T-SQL, Stored
Procedures , error/exception handling and tuning of tables and views
- Experience in performance
tuning in Sqlserver.
- Proficient
in Microsoft Visio, Project, Excel, Word

| Preferred Qualifications: |
- Prior SSA or Federal consulting
experience
- Familiarity with SSA infrastructure
including exposure to COBOL, JCL, SAS, FOCUS, or DB2 a plus.
- Knowledge of SSA disability
systems or claims administration processes for large health or human
services organizations
- Knowledge of SSA disability
program/policy (or the capability to quickly understand)
- Experience
in Agile development environments
